Sightseeing Excursions

One-on-one/small group sightseeing excursions in a comfortable, air-conditioned car by Wendy de Munari, your local, experienced, English-speaking tour organiser. Wendy will collect you from your hotel (or at a designated meeting point) in the morning and take you out for the day on a sightseeing excursion, returning you to your hotel at the end of the day (usually 9.00am – 6.00pm). The cost of the day’s outing covers the sightseeing excursion itself, petrol and parking expenses. There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the day to stop for photos, coffees, snacks and a light picnic style lunch. Entry into sights extra. Minimum number – 1 person, maximum number – 4 persons. Special arrangements can be made for groups of more than 4 persons.

Half-day (4 hours) sightseeing excursion – AUD $150/day (1-2 persons)
Extra persons – AUD $25.00/extra person/day

Wine Tour

Half-day wine tour (“Solving the Mysteries of Terroir”) conducted by Olivier Hickman of Wine Uncovered. Olivier is an experienced, local, English-speaking guide, viticulteur and wine exporter. The tour is a half-day guided visit (in English) to the vineyards and wineries of two different Domaines in the Vaucluse wine belt area, where the concept of terroir is explained, demonstrations are given on how different terroir, grape varieties, vine-growing and winemaking methods influence the wines tasted, and opportunities to taste the wines are offered at the Domaines visited during the tour.

Accompanied Bike Rides

Vincent Milhe, an experienced, local, English-speaking riding enthusiast and guide for Bikestyletours.com will accompany you on a specially prepared day’s excursion through the beautiful Provencal countryside (or up Mont Ventoux if you prefer!). Vincent can meet you at your hotel or at a designated meeting point. Pick-up is usually at 9.00am and drop-off at 6.00pm. There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the day to stop for photos, coffees, snacks and a light, picnic-style lunch. Entry into sights extra. Bike Hire

All hired bikes come equipped with their own tool kit (including 1 spare tube), saddle, pump, bike computer, helmet, bike locks and water bottles. Vincent will help adjust the bike to your size and make sure you are comfortable and confident with the handling and fit of your bike before you set off. If you hire a bike it is advisable to bring your own pedals and saddle. Alternatively, you could ride with standard sports shoes. Bike assistance and repairs are provided if needed.
